Help with all of partnering for your biotechnology or pharmaceutical business.
Biotech Business Development

Help making contacts, shaping messages, assessing market valuation, or negotiating the deal.

With over 20 years of industry experience in licensing and business development at big and small biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, I can help you with all the aspects of getting a deal done.  As a consultant, my clients have gotten at least 8 deals done, many for tougher to partner preclinical assets.

I have a proven record of success in drug development, evaluation, valuation and negotiation for strategic alliances and licensing deals (see deal sheet on About Me).

I was VP of Business Development of Kosan Biosciences, head of oncology and hematology licensing at Amgen, collaborations manager at what is now AstraZeneca, and in drug discovery research at what is now Pfizer and what is now AstraZeneca.

Services can include:

  • analyzing markets & competition
  • making contacts
  • defining strategy
  • communicating a 30-second "elevator" message, quick teasers for e-mails, 1-page flyers or comprehensive diligence packages
  • representing you at partnering forums
  • preliminary valuation
  • negotiating.
